AIR AMBULANCE IN PRIVATE JET CONFIGURED AS AN INTENSIVE CARE ROOM
Traveling by air ambulance is by far the fastest way to get a patient home over medium to long distances.
Our air ambulance option means that our medical team will go to the patient's location to perform a medical examination and determine if it is medically safe to fly.
Once they have deemed the patient fit to fly, our logistics team will make all necessary preparations for transport.
This includes liaison with hospitals at both ends, coordination for aircraft departure and possible refueling stops if necessary.
‣ When you contact our logistics, we will help you determine what type of air ambulance flight is best for your patient.
‣ This will depend on factors such as your current condition, where you are now and how far you need to travel.
‣ Intensive care transports are designed for patients who need specialist support in emergencies, for example people who need a concentrated oxygen supply, or who are flying to a foreign hospital for cancer or stroke treatment.
‣ Air ambulances can transport patients to the nearest medical facility faster than a ground ambulance, which is especially important in emergency conditions.
‣ An intensive care transport is a mobile ICU with second-by-second monitoring of a patient's vital signs and emergency treatment if necessary, for example, patients who are unconscious or who have suffered a serious accident or life-threatening illness.
EXPERIENCE IN THE AIR
+ 200K FLIGHT HOURS
Veteran pilots
Our pilots must pass a demanding selection process and training program before they can fly for us. All pilots are highly experienced with diverse backgrounds including medical, military and commercial aviation.
They must follow a training regimen that exceeds Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards. Countless hours each month are set aside for training that includes textbooks, electronic educational materials, FAA updates, and hands-on simulator practice.
Before each medical flight, pilots participate in a risk assessment analysis to be prepared for potential challenges that may arise.
